Good Chemistry Films creates cost-efficient, premium documentary films and television series.

Good Chemistry Films is a Canadian film and television production company, co-founded in 2024 by Erin Sharp and Nicolina Lanni, located in Toronto, Ontario.


Erin and Nicolina have produced countless titles in the pop-culture documentary sphere including the Peabody and Emmy award winning series Hip Hop Evolution, Degrassi: Whatever It Takes, This Is Pop, K-Pop Evolution, The Eleven and more. 

ERIN SHARP

With over 20 years of film and television experience, Erin Sharp is both a practical and creative producer with a wealth of knowledge stemming from working on a diverse variety of programs.


Recently, Erin produced the documentary series on the Degrassi franchise for Peacock Alley Entertainment and WildBrain, a Passionate Eye documentary that examines toxic masculinity in the male health and wellness space Harder Better Faster Stronger, and 50K First Dates the two-part docuseries for Amazon about the unbelievable true story of Nesh Pillay, a woman who mysteriously lost the last 15 years of her memory.


For nearly a decade, Erin was the VP of Production at Banger Films overseeing an award-winning slate of productions like the Peabody & Emmy Award Winning Hip-Hop Evolution for Netflix/Bell Media and the 2023 Canadian Screen Award best documentary Sex With Sue.


Erin's work in film and television has seen her working as a producer on the cult-favourite comedy Kenny vs Spenny, to managing large-scale live specials for CBC News.

NICOLINA LANNI

Nicolina is a film and television producer and director with over 15 years of experience across documentary, unscripted, and premium branded content. 


Prior to Good Chemistry she led Unscripted Development at the Peabody and Emmy Award–winning production company Banger Films. Before that she co-founded Frank Films, producing feature documentaries and premium branded content, where she oversaw an extensive slate of partnerships with global brands like VICE, KLM, CIBC, Loblaws, Toyota, Adidas, Scotiabank and more.


She began her career at CBC working on Q, the network’s flagship arts and culture program, before moving into documentary and true crime. Her credits include The Eleven (A+E), Manson (Apple TV+), featuring the first in-depth interview with Linda Kasabian, and Nazi Hunters (Nat Geo), which gained unprecedented access to former Mossad agents.

Her work has taken her across five continents - from filming with K-pop superstars BTS in Seoul, to returning belongings carried across the Pacific by the 2011 Japanese tsunami. 


A passionate advocate for equity in the industry, Nicolina co-founded Film Fatales Canada in 2015, the national chapter of the global collective dedicated to supporting and amplifying women and non-binary directors.
